I'm doing two sports(rugby and track.) They both start next month. How can I condition myself to the level where I will be able to do both. I'm not looking to be the best at either, but no one thinks I can do both at the same time. I'm ready to prove em wrong.

Open Question: Is it a coincidence that white people win by far the most medals in all sports of Olympics?
Whites win over 75% of medals in Summer Olympics and nearly 95% of the medals in Winter Olympics. Also in extreme sports, car and motor sports, strong men competition etc white domination is nearly 100%. Also whites win nearly 95% of Nobel Prize awards, Oscar awards, Pulitzers, Precidencies etc. Whites went on the moon, colonized the planet, created the biggest empires, explored the seas and mountains, invented pretty much everything in the western world blah blah http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_medalists http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nobel_laureates Is every that a coincidence? Resolved Question: Ideas for a research project?
I am studying the new South Australian SACE and as part of this I have to complete an extensive Research Project on any subject I want. Although it sounds easy I just cant arrive up with a topic to do my Reseach Project on. I dont really have any main interests, which makes choosing a topic wisely a difficult task, considering most people pick something to do with their interests. I am not into any medicines/chemistry type science projects so I dont want to do anything like that. Ideas that I have arrive up with are "what roles do mosquitoes play in an ecosystem" and "The impact of Carp in the Murray Darling Basin" but these topics dont really interest me. I also have no interest in technology (Gadgets). Something to do with extreme sports maybe???? I would appreciate it if i could have a few suggestions just to receive me going. Thanks :) I am pretty flexible, any suggestion would be a great help. What would you want to study? It has to be big enough to be able to study for a whole semester ( 6 months ) Thanks

Open Question: I Feel Insane and like it?
Put is simply, I'm below plenty of stress at home, school (AP courses) and sports training, and I find myself slipping slightly/abet willingly letting go. Especially at home, when the mom complains, whines, and throws tantrums out of nowhere; I'll find myself with a wickedly sweet feeling grin and a creepy but nice edge in my voice. When mom sees me like this she gets this frightened look on her face and says, "You sicko," or something similar. Recently I've been into heavy rock and metal like Slipknot and Disturbed. Anything that awakens a crazy sadistic side of me. Sometimes I clench and twist my hands like a serial killer movie character would, especially when I wear gloves. My question is, If a person is pushed far enough, can you willingly change or alter your personality. Or in another phrase, have a sub personality that only comes out in times of extreme stress or when no one is around? Neesha, For the record my mom is unattractive as hell and my sister is 9 and bitchy....... But I guess in your case they weren't. Go hear to the tune Fix Me by 10 Years, that will help you understand.

Resolved Question: Valentine's Day gift ideas for a boyfriend?
I'm trying to think of nice things to do/receive for my boyfriend on Valentine's Day. I can spend up to $500 or I could make something. We're both 18 (so nothing sexual please. xD) and we've been together for 4 years. He doesn't like sports like football and baseball. He prefers snowboarding, surfing, and other "extreme/one player" sports, not teams. He doesn't play videogames, that's my thing. haha. He enjoys drawing and painting. He's a musician. He can play bass clarinet, contrabass, acoustic & electric guitar, piano, and a few other instruments, but he doesn't need any new pieces/picks/cases. :/ He can basically receive what he wants most of the time, and so it's difficult to think of gifts. I've already done the "1,000 Reasons Why I adore You" and done other handmade/written things like that, so I'd adore to buy him something he'll actually like & use (not cologne either *sigh*). Problem is, he won't tell me what he wants. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much!

Resolved Question: I want to start extreme sports?
I am in need of a new sport to play. I quit baseball because the kids I were playing with were cheating and the umpires did nothing about it. I am 14, 140 pounds, and skinny. I was thinking parkour or rock climbing, but I want to hear your opinions. So, what sport do you think is best for me? I am open to any ideas. Also, I live in Minnesota, so no surfing.

Resolved Question: Is this normal or abnormal of sports fans? (no one will answer!)?
So this is really random, but I realized I tend to experience extreme emotions (ie: elation and/or devastation) at times when watching sports (primarily when it is the playoffs or championship). I almost want to say that I feel the same emotions as the players when they either win or lose it every in championships... I have actually cried a little and have felt SO devastated when my favorite player has lost in the championship games. Likewise, if he had won, I KNOW I would've felt total elation. Does this sound really odd or abnormal? Or is this something most sports fans actually experience? Obviously if you're not a sports fan this doesn't make any sense to you at every lol. But is it common for sports fans? Or maybe just female sports fans? lol

Resolved Question: Should i still train for track on sore legs?
So I just started track and field in high school this Tuesday and I feel PARALYZED. NO not even paralyzed cuz then i wouldn't be able to feel anything...but anyways, I'm in A LOT of pain, i can barely walk. I've never run track or done any sport EVER and I'm a junior. And i don't do P.E. cuz of a program i'm in so i'm REALLY out of shape. I didn't condition before joining cuz i'm stupid and lazy...so when we ran four 400m laps today, i almost died. I mean i came in 2nd before last even though i'm tall and skinny -__-. So in other words I've been doing extreme jumping and base exercise along with the running and I've been sore for 2 days so far. How long will it take for my be able to clip my 400m time from 2 minutes (I SUCK.) to at least 100 seconds? and should i still train so difficult on extremely sore legs? (also, how do i numb the painnn?? D';) btw training is 5-6 days a week for 2 hours.

Resolved Question: Am I submissive or dominant? (Male)?
I am socially extroverted, I have no problem talking to people, telling them to do things, leading them, giving them advice, sticking up for myself, beating up other people in self defense, fighting others, playing sports, etc. However, I like being submissive during sex with females (nothing BDSM or extreme). However, I like the idea of a submissive lady doing what you tell her to do everywhere outside of the bedroom (like make me food, do this, do that) and being in charge, being controlling, not letting her spend every my money, and not being a sucker. So what does this make me? People always think I'm dominant socially and probably sexually too, but I'm not dominant sexually... Although I wouldn't telling a lady to be dominant be telling her to do something for you? Thus making her submissive for listening? Yes, I can like being dominant too... I guess I'm a switch.

Resolved Question: Can you search someone on suspicion of thief?
I work for a well known firm that deals with members of the public i.e. PC World. I'd witnessed two girls and a fella aged roughly between18-20 category acting suspiciously. Although the store has camera's, the area of the store they'd been standing around was out of camera view. Each time I'd looked over to them from the customer service desk from where I was standing, I'd noticed them giving the look over, signalling as such to look if there was staff around. They'd be in the store for around 10 minutes. The girls were general browsing, at the same time looking for staff members to cover the fella's back. Is it within the law to approach them as they leave the store and search their bag on suspicion of thief, searching their bag I know it is a bit extreme and could may well involve the police to be doing something like that as I'd be invading their privatesy but is there anything I could have done to, I had approached them at the start to look if they'd need hand with anything and they just said 'no they were fine'. They did enter the store with a black sports bag, to me looked as if it could have been filed with many items. Just curios as to what way situations like this could be handled so I understand next time.

Resolved Question: Few doubts about my Nikon D5100.?
Hey guys, I possess a Nikon D5100 for the last 10 months or so. Now that I have got very well acquainted with my cam, I would like to do a few upgrades. I am starting with upgrading the memory card. I am planning to buy a Sandisk Extreme Pro 16GB card ( 95MB/S ) Official Product Page Link: http://www.sandisk.in/products/dslr/sandisk-extreme-pro-sdhcsdxc-uhs-i-memory-cards/ However before proceeding I would like to confirm a few things: 1. Will the 95MB/S speed benefit me in Continuous shooting? 2. What is the transfer rate of the cam while shooting 1080P at 30fps? 3. Most importantly will D5100 be compatible with this card? 4. Is 95MB/S an overkill? A few things you may like to know: 1. I am a serious hobby photographers and not a professional one and hence cant afford to spend a bit too much on accessories. 2. I do a lot of continuous shooting while clicking birds or sports. 3.I also do HD videos frequently on this DSLR when I dont have my Handycam. PS: IF you need anymore details, please mention so in your answer and I will Add them to the question ASAP Answers and suggestions are highly appreciated. However if you are only interested in ridiculing the question or my doubts, please dont take efforts.. Thanks in Advance Cheers @Fotoace, Thanks a lot.. I dont mind buying 8GB instead of 16GB at every. Thanks for the advice.. Also yup I mean the same continuous you have mentioned.. Only I thought that it will empty the buffer faster than normal card. And yes further more, I am trying seriously to be a better photographer and M sure so will happen if I receive keeping such positive answers form experts like you :) @Screwdriver, Thanks a lot to you too.. Actually I ave every those specs on computer you asked for.. A quad-core 3.4GHz CPU, USB 3 and every others you asked for.. So what I think I should do is go for 8GB instead of 16GB, but still go for 95MB/S because I agree to the point that the card is Futureproof :)

Resolved Question: Are these good video game ideas?
First is a sports game that lets you play every sports at the same time. You could pick 5 teams for example you could pick for hockey capitals for basketball celtics for baseball phillies for mls soccer galaxy and for football steelers. even college teams too. And have each day there is espn sports middle on so it is like real life. top 10 plays and everything. Second game You and your girlfriend are randomly chosen to go on a mission to another possible planet we could live on. Pretty much you receive stuck there. You have to find resources like food and water. You can find materials to make a city. Decide what nice of government you want. Elect a president. Be king. Destroy the king. You can be a greedy and greedy villain or be a regular citizen or even a hero.If you die the game ends. How you beat the game is you go full on hero or villain and be so extreme you reach Blue Mountain where you receive a special ring and beat the game. If you think a game could be improved please comment. Also tell me if you would play either of those.

Resolved Question: Dad worried about Teen Daughter?
I'm worried about my Teen daughter, and would appreciate your honest impression. My daughter engages in every extreme sport imaginable, and makes a point of participating in male dominated sports activities at school. It seems to be very important to her to prove that girls can do whatever boys can do. She is now at an age where, by nature, boys are stronger than girls and she is starting to receive injured repeatedly. Her injuries have not been serious to date, but they are becoming more and more frequent. She becomes extremely upset when I express my concerns, because she loves the notoriety and attention she gets from these activities. Her Mom is on her side, and I'm outvoted. Honestly, I think her Mom is enjoying every the attention this is generating too. That said, I think this is rapidly approaching unhealthy status, and I'm worried sick the next injury will be something serious. I just look things escalating in that direction. Am I being a chauvinist or overly protective? I don't think so, but my daughter and Wife think I should let my daughter prove her agenda. What do you think? Wow....every of you are opening my eyes. I guess I'm wrong on this one. Please keep the answers coming. I appreciate everyone who has/is taking the time to answer. A little more detail. (I'm being careful not to expose too much info in the very rare chance that someone might recognize who my daughter is. It would embarrass the h*ll out of her.) She is participating in high school sports as the only female on the football team, wrestling, soccer team.) She is NOT a big girl at every, but very scrappy. As I said, she keeps getting injured. And for those wondering, yes she dates boys. She's very feminine looking and very pretty.

Resolved Question: Is playing high school sports worth the time?
I'm a 17 year old junior who has played lacrosse for the past two years. I only started playing my freshman year. Let me be completely honest with you. I hated practice from day one. I always had extreme anxiety on the field, but i admired the game and loved the people on the team. sophomore year i got onto varsity, but i was going through a bad time and my performance level just plummeted. it was disastrous, and i felt sure i wasn't gonna play anymore. However quick forward to the beginning of this year, I am a lot better about my confidence and I've been stressing about playing or not. What's stopping me is 1. i have not gone to any practices which is quite awkward 2. i have not played lacrosse in MONTHS 3. season is about to start 4. is it bad that i'll probably not be on varsity? 5. our coach sucks. we every know. its not like we're a bunch of brats, trust me. she sucks I am taking 7 classes right now, a full schedule. i'm in classes at school from 7AM to 3PM every day, and on top of that i stay after for Yearbook (<-- we. are. slaves.) I'm just not sure i can give the coach what she wants. I know i will regret it if i don't play. It's just one of those things. Will sports really help me for applying to college? Is it worth it?

Resolved Question: How do you like my characters?
It's these twin sisters, Hattie and Maddie (real names are Brittany and Nicole). Hattie (Brittany) Iliad. Is thirteen, and is a few minutes older than Maddie. Is a pro at basketball, and used to play alot when she was younger. Has bright red hair, and hazel eyes. Always wears makeup, and has a weird obsession with caterpillars and cats. Smokes, uses cocaine, and drinks obsessively. Used to be the more athletic of the two, but now suffers extreme health issues. Has a spit-flame personality, and is always cranky. Maddie (Nicole) Iliad: Is also thirteen, and is the youngest. Is way smarter than Hattie, and studies almost any second she can. Reads well, and hates doing sports or anything having to do with the outdoors. Has a darker red hair color, but otherwise looks almost exactly the same as Hattie. Both have pale skin. Wears some makeup, but prefers to not wear any. Likes to study birds, and collects birds nests and anything having to do with butterflies. Prefers to spend time indoors, with her nose stuck in a book, but always tries to protect Hattie from their dad (who is an alcoholic) and their mom, who hasn't found out about Hattie's addictions. Is a smart-ass, and is extremely witty. Their mom spends most her time traveling around the world, because of her job, and comes home at least one every three years. Their dad is a heavy alcoholic and druggie, and is very abusive on the two. He first introduced Hattie to drugs and alcohol. Their mom's boyfriend, tries to rape both, and is abusive as well, but mostly takes out his anger on Maddie, because she is less physical. What do you think of them both? Thanks :)

Voting Question: So lets get this straight. The Egyptian govt should be blamed for the actions of uncivilized clowns who ->?
Decided they they wanted to kill others over a game? That's according to more than likely the very same people who thought it was fun to kill people over a game. I'm not saying the Egyptian Government are saint but how are they to blame for the actions of those who decided they wanted to take the results of a game to the extreme? Your thoughts? agree or disagree? -> Egypt police, protesters clash after soccer riot CAIRO (AP) — Egyptian police fired tear gas Thursday at thousands of demonstrators outside the Interior Ministry protesting the security forces' failure to prevent a soccer riot that killed more than 70 people. Anger has been building as the public and lawmakers blamed the country's military rulers for the bloodshed, the latest to signal rapidly deteriorating security in the country since Hosni Mubarak's fall nearly a year ago. The protests started as a peaceful march by Egyptians mad over the police inaction from the headquarters of Al-Ahly, one of Egypt's most popular soccer clubs, to the area outside the ministry building close Tahrir Square, the epicenter of last year's popular uprising that ousted Mubarak. Security forces guarding the area were separated from the more than 10,000 protesters by concrete blocs and barbed wire, but tensions rose as protesters advanced toward them, cursing and removing some of the barriers. They also raised their shoes in the air and hurled stones. Police responded with heavy tear gas, sending demonstrators running, with some passing out and falling to the ground. Some tried to move big concrete blocs erected around the ministry since November, when clashes between the police and protesters then left more than 40 people dead. In scenes reminiscent of those clashes, protesters set tires on flame, sending black smoke in the air. Motorcycle drivers ferried some of those wounded from the site as ambulances were unable to receive through. Egyptian state TV said 100 people had passed out from the tear gas. The Interior Ministry said in a statement the protesters had clip the barbed wire, and crossed over the concrete blocs to reach the roads leading to the headquarters. It urged the protesters "to hear to the sound of wisdom ... at these critical moments" to prevent the spread of chaos. Wednesday's riot at the stadium in Port Said erupted when Al-Masry fans stormed the field following a rare 3-1 win against Al-Ahly, one of Egypt's most popular clubs, but the violence went beyond the deep sports rivalry between the teams. A network of rabid soccer fans known as Ultras vowed vengeance, accusing the police of intentionally letting rivals attack them because they have been at the forefront of protests over the past year, first against Mubarak and now the military. Many members of die-difficult soccer fans who were among the protesters vowed to storm the ministry. "Either they (police) will die or we will die," said Islam, a member of the Ultras, said. "We are willing to die for the blood of martyrs." He declined to give his last name because of the volatility of the situation. _________

Resolved Question: What is wrong with me?
I've always wanted to talk to someone about this but I'm extremely embarrassed and ashamed so...hopefully this isn't gonna end up with anyone criticizing me :/ I am 20, and female. I am formally diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I take 300 mg of Wellbutrin and 300 mg of Klonopin daily. Ever since I was a kid, I've been a little different. I've had extreme anxiety issues, like I wouldn't be able to go into the grocery store by myself. In 8th grade I had to switch schools, but I couldn't receive started at the new school because I was too afraid so I switched back. I find it difficult to make friends and difficult to receive a job because I'm afraid of getting everything wrong. I wet the bed until I was 12. I got a cat when I was in the 4th grade and without going into detail, I basically abused him. I felt no remorse until later in my life...now when I think about it I want to toss up. I have many nieces and nephews, and when I was about 7 or 8, I would ask them if they wanted to "have sex" and I would kiss them and do other things that were completely inappropriate. When I was in middle school (6th-8th grade), I was at my most "normal" I guess you could say. My only real deviant behavior then was basically being in a relationship with my best pal who was a girl. Other than that I did well in school, played a lot of sports, and had a lot of friends. I am a generally intelligent person, I have an over average IQ and I've been an A student since kindergarten lol. I have always found it extremely easy to lie and to keep a story going. The best example is I used to pose as people other than myself on the internet and could keep these "people's" lives and identities in order and keep lying and have nothing go wrong. Sometimes I start doing things and I don't know why I'm doing them, but I can't cease. Like there is nothing I can do at every to cease. Like earlier tonight I was messing around with my roommates spraying air freshener on them. At first we were every giggling, then they were done with it and asked me to cease. I kept going because I was still laughing. They started to receive annoyed and asked me to please cease. Even though I was no longer amused by it, I kept going. They (understandably) became VERY upset, to the point of screaming at me to cease and slamming doors and such, but I could not control myself and cease. As it was happening I was thinking "why are you doing this, nothing good will arrive of it, what's your end game here", but I just couldn't cease at every. Or sometimes when I'm arguing with people I'll become unbearably mean and just keep pushing and pushing even though I don't really want to be that way, I just can't cease. I always feel like I have to be right and I will usually go to any length to prove that I'm correct. I am so unloyal, I will toss the people I adore below the bus as long as I am right. I am extremely competitive over stupid things, like board games. I really hate these things about myself...but I don't know how to cease or change them or what to do... I also wanted to add that I have extreme, irrational jealousy issues. Even though I KNOW I'm being irrational, I can't shake the feeling. Like if my boyfriend does something completely normal and acceptable, like hanging out with someone else, I receive so jealous and mad for no reason at every and I can't cease even though I know I'm being completely, 400% irrational

Voting Question: Is the survival in extreme conditions considered a talent?
basically, if they were able to survival with lack of food, hunting for themselves, protecting themselves, would this be considered a talent. I guess their ability in sports could also be considered like arching, fishing, and then also aim, speed, accuracy etc

Resolved Question: What are some activities that teenagers engage in that parents find it hard to understand? Why?
I thought of cliff diving but I don't know how to elaborate on the safety aspect. Can any parent help me by giving me your opinion? What would you think if your kids arrive up to you one day and told you they are into extreme sports?

Resolved Question: Do I have bipolar disorder?
I am 19 and a college student from the Northeast. I am unsure of whether I have bipolar disorder and I don't want to bring it up to my family or friends because I don't want them to think I am weird or something. Simply put, I am a college student who has two extreme views on life for myself. Sometimes I want to be raking in the dough and be living in a nice home, with nice cars, with a beautiful wife, sending my kids to good schools and even giving money to my parents and other family members. I want to be a high powered businessman pretty much...and I am trying to receive on the business path at college. (I am interested mostly in history and sports management nice of stuff but I realize that I reallycan't make any money doing that which sucks). Then other times, I want to be a writer and poet who lives by himself in a big, empty home in the middle of nowhere similar to a JD Salinger. I don't want to have a wife or a family and can look myself dying by myself and living my entire life without too much contact with others. I would like a dog for company and that is about it. I am an extremely sociable person with people and adore talking and getting to know people but I really and I mean really like spending time alone. As much as I make friends and contacts with people I always 'leave' them at work or at school and don't usually bring them into my private life. To tell you the truth, I have 3 best friends every of which I have known from a very early age. And even those 3 I look rarely when I feel like it. I did take an online test for bipolar disorders and it put me at a "bipolar disorder likely" but I m not sure how accurate those tests are...would any of you recommend a therapist or anything that you have tried that has worked? What are your thoughts on my sistuation? So pretty much, what do you guys think?

Resolved Question: I'm probably finishing my first freshman semester with a B grade in every class. Should I be disappointed?
I'm in two honors classes (English and Biology) and take one foreign language (spanish) and play one sport (wrestling). I've missed about 2 weeks of school this semester, maybe more, due to extreme social anxiety and loneliness that I now no longer have an issue with (I made friends - stood up against the bullies). I want to go to University of Georgia; which certainly isn't Duke or Harvard, but on the other-hand it's no Auburn, so it's not easy to receive into. Have I helped or hurt my chances this semester, and what should be my goals for next semester? thanks

Resolved Question: What the name of this techno / electronic song?
I heard it at an extreme sports store yesterday and it sounded really familiar. I asked someone at the desk to write the name of the tune down and she -reading from the mp3 player- wrote "Endirecto Best of dj charts beatport (august)" I searched for it but couldn't find anything. It started with a "talkbox" effect and had a familiar melody pattern and barely had any lyrics. I'm sure most of you guys know it!

Resolved Question: I wish I was never born.?
I honestly wish I was never born. From making mistakes in childhood and feeling extreme remorse after getting screamed at to not knowing what to do with my life. Everyday I feel worse (I am a high school senior) as I notice that I don't know where I'm going after graduation. I have a scholarship for $3700/Yr for 6 years, but it's not enough. I am doing good in welding but I'd be giving up my other career choices to go to trade school. I could follow my stepfather and be a firefighter in the Department of Defense, but I don't think I'd like being one. I like computers and tech but hate math... Oh yeah back to the topic.. I feel like my mind is always cloudy. I have friends but I feel like I don't act normally, being sporadically hyper or saying stupid lines. I don't have a lot of energy, and I do sports yet feel like everyone on the team would be better if I quit out. I always stick through in basketball but I'm turning my jerseys in after our tournament, as I am sleepy of not practicing in skrimmages, and being picked last for drills. It's bullshit. After devoting 4 years to sports (soccer and ball) I DESERVE to play. Out of the 4 seniors on the team 1 is a team captain/starter (3 years running?) the other two are always playing and are starters/first to sub in. I being the fourth don't even practice with the team. Ineligible players receive more practice time in skrimmages than I do!!! Starting to look where I'm coming from here? If there was a button that would end my life to give someone who deserved it, I'd push it without hesitation. If I could give my life to that of a lost pal of mine, it would be given. Instead I got the curse of living when every I want is to not exist, and they got the curse of dying before their time. This is unfair. When I say "not exist" I understand the "It's A Wonderful Life" effect, as I would have had no impact on the world. Maybe I had a positive impact but I honestly highly doubt that. Thanks for reading. Please help me?

Resolved Question: What is the game where people follow other people really closely?
I remember seeing a couple of guys playing a game, I think it was called "extreme shadowing" or something like that. The goal was to follow behind someone, as closely as possible, right in the person's footsteps, without that person noticing. It was timed and the timer stopped when the person being followed noticed the guy. The winner was the person that could follow somebody the longest. They wore bright tracksuits and it may have been on the Ellen DeGeneres show, but I'm not 100% about the last part. I can't remember what they called the game, or sport or whatever. Any ideas what it's called?

Voting Question: The Weight WONT come off?
Recently I have took a stand and began to take more pride in myself and my health. I am 5'2 150 pounds, yet still not overweight looking. I used to be an extreme athlete and was full muscle. Unfortunately, I was injured and can no longer participate in my sport. I have been eating extremely healthy, my diet full (and restricted to) tofu, veggies, fruits, and moderate nuts. I do not eat tardy. However, my weight seems to be at a standstill. What other things must I do to lose weight? I understand I should be getting more active and I will. Also, I can not run (per doctor's orders). What other excersizes are high in fat burning besides running? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Resolved Question: A case for Manny Pacquiao: All-time great?
This is an article written by Matt Hamilton: Manny Pacquiao: every-Time Great In the hoopla surrounding the very public & at times crass & self-cannibalizing promotion of what could be As Manny Pacquiao reaches a career cross-roads his standing in the sport's history is open to spirited & divergent debate. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao one can lose sight of the fact that these are two exceptional & era-defining boxing talents. Whether or not we look the big one on May 5, 2012 I commence a two part series chronicling both the Fighting Pride of The Philippines & the boxer formerly known as Pretty Boy Floyd. I start my homage to these two talents with Manny Pacquiao for one simple reason – irrespective of ability, brilliance or any other metric of greatness – Pacman has plain & simply given more – more of himself; more of his blood, sweat & tears than has the self-proclaimed & self-styled mercenary of prize fighting, Money Mayweather. Now that is not to say that Mayweather has not offered up extreme amounts of “difficult work & dedication” – it is simply that the absence of a comparably sizable body of work against elite competition renders his a talent whose impact was fed to us – lovers of the sport – in a very cease-start even painfully awkward manner. Put simply & to borrow a phrase from one of Team Money‘s most high profile backers – Pacquiao is fully entitled to tell Floyd, “Homie, you ain’t been through what I been through.” Manny Pacquiao, we note, holds notable wins over: •Erik Morales (twice – Morales aged 28, 29 & 30 at the time of the three epic clashes that comprised the storied trilogy). •Marco Antonio Barrera (twice – when Barrera was aged 29 & 33 at the time of each clash). •(A shot) Oscar De La Hoya at a weight (147lbs) that ultimately hampered the Golden Boy far more so than it did the Fighting Pride of the Philippines. •(A post-loss to Mayweather) Ricky Hatton by spectacular 2nd Round KO in a barnstormer. •Joshua Clottey (who claims the battle was fixed) in a one-sided battle. •Antonio Margarito (post outing) in a brutal beat down. •Miguel Cotto (post suspect “loss” to Margarito) by tardy TKO having dominated the majority of the battle to that juncture. •Two highly divisive wins over Juan Manuel Marquez (which will be hotly debated for eons). •(A shot) “Sugar” Shane Mosley (in a rather flat irksome performance). In his pomp Pacquiao was a violent pugilistic force of nature – a fighter whose spectacular talent & output catapulted him to both the status of clear-clip #1 fighter in the world & the periphery of the every-time Pound-for-Pound debate. Pacquiao as the only eight-division world champion & the first fighter to win the lineal world title in four weight classes is clearly a boxer whose body of work can be described as historically significant. We do though live in an era of history with weight divisions calibrated as little as 3lbs apart. He picked up both The Ring and the BWAA“Fighter of the Year” award in 2006, 2008, and 2009. The latter makes him one of a select group of only 5 men who have picked up the accolade three times – along with no lesser names than (wait for it) Muhammed Ali; Joe Frazier; Sugar Ray Leonard & Evander Holyfield – & thus the only non-American to have been given the American’s boxing writer’s nod as fighter of the year. His hatrick of The Ring Fighter of the Year Awards places him in a similarly elite grouping of the sport’s every-time greats with his 2009 win making him one of only 6 men to have won three or more times. Joe Louis; Rocky Marciano; Joe Frazier; Mohammed Ali; Evander Holyfield….& now Manny Pacquiao. Additionally PacMan is the Boxing Writers Association of America’s ”Fighter of the Decade” for the first decade of the 21st century. Stylistically – & though reflecting on a style that has morphed & evolved substantially below the tutelage of one Freddie Roach: The catalyst to PacMan's upward trajectory. Freddie Roach – his is something of a super-charged & super-energized form of Ricky Hatton; that is not averse to mixing it up & yes being drawn into downright brawling if the situation calls for it. Such styles; ever refined versions thereof do not lend themselves well to longevity at the upper echelons of the most unforgiving of sporting disciplines. Then again; wasn’t the same true Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez? Perhaps certain talents are able to transcend such logical impositions mere mortals find terminal hindrances. (CONTINUED) At 33 years of age Manny has already outlasted his less skilled contemporary though going on the evidence of his last two trips to the squared circle Pacquiao’s most bombastic days of thunder are now likely to be behind him. Should that purported deterioration in skills show itself to be fact I’d hasten to add that irrespective whether or not we look the mega-battle of the decade Manny Pacquiao is a fighter whose claims to greatness are beyond reproach & whose contribution to the sport globally & as a standard bearer for the era dwarfs that of Money Mayweather. Each to their possess when it comes to the inevitably subjective endeavor of compiling an every-time pound-for-pound list – we every look for different characteristics, attributes & metrics indicative of true historic greatness – but for me; a fan who is admittedly more Hagler than Ray Leonard; Manny stands head & shoulders over Floyd Mayweather in any such list & will remain there regardless of the result of any future mee meeting. Put simply; Pacquiao has given us more by fighting with the desire to win & not the fear of losing as his primary motivation.

Voting Question: Schizophrenia or Anxiety? (Long, I apologize)?
I have an extreme fear of getting schizophrenia, I smoked a lot of weed in a 6 month period, I am a male (This is my sisters account) I am 18 years old (Onset), and I also have a family history of it (A few people form my dads side have gotten it) I quit smoking because of this, but my anxiety stayed and everyday I am testing myself to look if I am becoming schizophrenic, I receive panic attacks every other day, I am always freaking out over the smallest things I do because I feel like it is a sign that I am developing schizophrenia, for example, I will read something out noisy (When no one is there) and then I immediately start thinking to myself (Oh no, I'm talking to myself, that means I'm Schizophrenic, I'm going crazy) or I will always arrive up with "what if" scenarios, for example "What if people can read my mind" even though I know no one can, or "What if I am being watched" even though I know I am not. These thoughts go away after I calm down, but it seems like anything can trigger them, even the smallest thing. This only started happening after my first panic attack (I was high and started reading symptoms to schizophrenia, and I had a panic attack because I got so scared) I havent been the same since. It's always on my mind 24/7, I started taking fluoxetine but that isn't helping much. Another thing that scares me is that I have been delusional in the past, for example when I was about 8 years old I thought I had super strength, then I grew out of it, when I was about 12 I thought that if I didnt watch my favorite sports team play, then they would lose, I grew out of that, and a few months ago I thought I was destined to change the world (Conspiracy theories, etc.) I eventually grew out of that too. I have never heard or seen anything that wasn't there, but it scares me a lot that I have had delusions in the past. Now I am just a nervous wreck who cant even receive a good nights snooze. What is wrong with me? I am going to the doctor in a few weeks to receive a professional opinion, but in the mean time I was wondering if someone could do their best on here to tell me what is going on? Even if I dont have it now, I fear getting it later on in life. I fit every the criteria. -Left handed -Smoked a lot of weed -OCD -Anxiety -Socially Awkward -Not much friends -Never been in a serious relationship -Isolated -Racing thoughts when I try to snooze -...etc I am so scared of developing this

Resolved Question: I Discovered I have Lumbarization of the s1?
Hi, today I went to the chiropractor to look at this pinched nerve that was bothering me (long one running from back to foot on left leg, forgot the name). After taking an x-ray on my hip, he found out 3 of my discs were twisted and my right pelvis was higher than my left, and also, that I had Lumbarization of the s1. He explained to me that it's when the sacrum isn't connected to the other discs (or something like that) and that one side is different than the other. he went on telling me that this is actually another bone on the spine, and that sometimes nature plays a trick on people and tries to make the s1 into that bone. Anyways, one side is how it should be, this circular looking bone, and the other side looks like a smaller and squished version of the other side of the bone. He went on telling me that this is like a "plan-B" for mom nature and that 6% of people receive this problem. I was fine until he told me this part: "You have to adapt. Expand your mind and use your brain, not your muscle." "You're a thinker, not an athlete." He kept telling me that I should not play ANYTHING competitive and that every I could do is receive my regular exercise and play sports only if it was friendly and not competitive. He bent his hips and said that my body wasn't made for this and that I should not think about doing anything extreme or competitive. I was about to sob. I'm 15 and I just heard I wont be able to exercise? I admit I'm a bit overweight, but I adore running, soccer, playing competitively, lifting weights, showing off my strength. No, I'm not filled with pride, I just adore being athletic. What he said completely demoralized and ruined me. then he told me how I I shouldn't worry and that you can still do what other people do, just that you'll receive the exact same feeling (pinched nerve) you're feeling right now more often and at a higher percentage than average people. he told me how I have a defect and how I don't have the typical back. Which one is it? Can I still be normal like everyone else, physically wise, or will I be at a handicap? Also, I was thinking about kids, but since I have this defect, do I want to bring kids into this world with this?

Resolved Question: Could Floyd become the next B-Hop in terms of longevity in the sport?
B-Hop's longevity IMO is down his incredible training ethic and his style or not getting hit clean often, fighting at a relatively slow pace e.c.t. Could comparisons be made between FMJ and B-Hop. I mean how many times has Floyd been hit clean to the head? Not many. Power shots that do long term damage? Even less, maybe even into the single digit figures. So what do you think? Maybe not as extreme as into his tardy forties like B-Hop but could you look FMJ hanging around for maybe another 4 or 5 years? Seeing as how he fights only once or twice a year, he trains like hell and his defense is just as good (if not superior) to B-Hop. Your opinions.

Voting Question: Are you still a virgin if? Slightly different question?
okay so when i was 10 i went horse riding, and my hymen broke. Does that mean i lost my virginity to a horse? lol. Are you still a virgin if you've NEVER had sex, but your hymen is broken, either through horse riding, idk masturbation - i hear, swimming, sports etc are you still virgin if you've never had sex, like me. I suffer from extreme anxiety so i tend over think these things, and i've never even kissed a guy. thank you! - asked this question recently, and people are still telling me i'm a virgin, good to know. But i have another question, i just mentioned masturbation (this is just my curisoty speaking) but are still a virgin if you break your hymen from masturbating - with YOURSELF. But you've still never had sex with anyone in your life. and yes the dictionary put's virginity as "A person, who has never had sexual intercourse." thought i might keep it there. like i said "slightly different question." i didn't really fully understand the last sentence Maggie, but i think you're agreeing with everyone else, lol good to know. @gizfish, lmao nice.
